About the Role

Salesforce Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Customization:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform using both declarative tools and custom code.
• Write robust and efficient

  Apex

  classes, triggers, and controllers, ensuring solutions are well-tested and adhere to governor limits.
• Build modern and performant user interfaces using

  Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  and/or

  Aura Components

  .
• Maintain and enhance existing functionality developed in

  Visualforce

  .
• Utilize declarative tools such as Flow, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Workflow Rules to implement business logic and automation.
  

Integration and Data Management:

• Implement and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using

  REST

  and

  SOAP APIs

  .
• Write efficient queries using

  SOQL

  and

  SOSL

  to retrieve and manipulate data.
• Assist in data migration activities using tools like Data Loader and be mindful of data quality and integrity.
  

Collaboration and Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and other stakeholders to understand and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and estimation sessions within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Write comprehensive

  Apex Test Classes

  to ensure 85% or higher code coverage for all new development.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development and manage deployments (e.g., Change Sets, Salesforce DX).
  

Maintenance and Best Practices:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs and technical issues in existing applications.
• Follow established coding standards and development best practices to ensure a maintainable and scalable codebase.
• Stay current with new Salesforce features, releases, and platform updates (e.g., LWC roadmap, new Flow capabilities).
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3 to 6 years

  of hands-on professional experience as a Salesforce Developer.

• Proficiency in custom development technologies:

• Apex

  (Triggers, Classes, Asynchronous Apex)

• Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  and/or

  Aura Components

• Visualforce

• Strong knowledge of

  SOQL

  and

  SOSL

  .
• Solid experience with declarative automation tools (Flow, Process Builder).
  
• Experience with

  Salesforce APIs

  for integration purposes.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules), and core clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
  
• Experience with

  Agile

  development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/(PD-II) -

  Highly Preferred

• Salesforce Certified Administrator or App Builder
• Experience with deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Salesforce DX, Git, Copado).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
