About the Role

Salesforce Developers (SD1, SD2, SD3 levels)

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC), and other Salesforce tools.

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and project managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Maintain and optimize Salesforce data models, workflows, and validation rules.

Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and data security guidelines.

Level-Wise Responsibilities:

SD1 (Junior Salesforce Developer 0 to 2 years experience):

Assist in the design and development of basic Salesforce components under supervision.

Debug and troubleshoot existing code and configurations.

Learn and apply Salesforce development principles and deployment processes.

Support day-to-day administrative tasks such as data imports, reports, and dashboards.

SD2 (Mid-Level Salesforce Developer 2 to 5 years experience):

Independently develop and deploy complex Salesforce solutions.

Implement integrations with third-party systems and manage end-to-end deployment.

Optimize existing code and workflows for better performance.

Mentor junior developers and assist in code reviews.

Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions.

SD3 (Senior Salesforce Developer 5+ years experience):

Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level Salesforce solutions.

Define and enforce development standards and best practices across the team.

Collaborate with architects to design scalable and secure solutions.

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code governance.

Stay updated with Salesforce releases and recommend adoption of new features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs

Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and deployment methodologies.

Salesforce configuration, workflows, Process Builder, Flow, and data modeling

CI/CD pipelines (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins)

Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Certifications

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Mandatory for SD2/SD3)

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Preferred for SD3)

Additional certifications (Admin, App Builder, Integration Architect) are a plus.
