About the Role

Salesforce Developer

In this role, you will be the technical owner of our Conga Contracts implementation, bridging the gap between standard Salesforce customization (Apex/LWC) and complex document generation/contract workflows. You will work closely with Legal, Sales Operations, and IT stakeholders to automate the full contract lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conga CLM & Document Generation (40%)

• End-to-End CLM Management:

  Design, configure, and maintain the

  Conga CLM

  (Contract Lifecycle Management) solution, ensuring a seamless flow from contract creation to signature.

• Template Engineering:

  Create and maintain complex document templates using

  Conga Composer

  and

  X-Author for Word/Excel

  , utilizing conditional logic, merge fields, and queries to pull dynamic data from multiple objects.

• eSignature Integration:

  Manage

  Conga Sign

  workflows, ensuring secure and automated delivery of documents to external signers and write-back of status updates to Salesforce.

• Redlining & Negotiation:

  Configure and troubleshoot "Send for Negotiation" flows and True-Up processes to handle contract redlines effectively.

2. Core Salesforce Development (40%)

• Custom Development:

  Develop scalable solutions using

  Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex

  , and

  Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  to support business logic that standard configuration cannot handle.

• Automation:

  Build robust flows using

  Salesforce Flow

  (Flow Builder) to trigger Conga processes or automate post-contract updates.

• Integration:

  Design and implement REST/SOAP APIs to integrate Salesforce/Conga with external ERPs or financial systems.

• Code Quality:

  Write efficient, testable code with 90%+ test coverage and adhere to Salesforce governor limits and best practices.

3. Solution Design & Support (20%)

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate legal and sales requirements into technical specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis on Conga generation errors, API failures, or signature sync issues.
• Mentor junior developers and administrators on Conga best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Salesforce Experience:

  4+ years of proven development experience on the Salesforce Platform (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud).

• Conga Stack Expertise:

  Deep proficiency in

  Conga CLM

  ,

  Conga Composer

  , and

  Conga Sign

  .

• X-Author:

  Strong hands-on experience with

  X-Author for Word

  for template creation.

• Development Languages:

  Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Lightning:

  Solid experience with

  Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  and the Aura framework.

• Version Control:

  Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git, Jenkins, or Copado.

Certifications (Highly Preferred):

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Required)
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Preferred)

• Conga Certified Composer Administrator

  or

  Conga CLM Administrator

  (Strongly Preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., Legal Counsel or Sales Leadership).
• Strong problem-solving skills, specifically regarding complex data relationships and document rendering.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
