Salesforce data migration specialist

Key Responsibilities:1.DataMigrationand Management:

• Executedatamigration projects forSalesforceapplications using Informatica, includingdataextraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Develop and implementdatamigration strategies to ensure accurate and efficient transfer of customerdataacross multipleSalesforceinstances.
• Validatedataintegrity and addressdataquality issues before, during, and aftermigration, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory standards.
• Utilize SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, and other ETL tools to support complexdatamigrationtasks.

2. Handling SensitiveData:

• Manage and implementdataencryption, masking, and anonymization techniques to protect sensitive information duringmigrationprocesses.
• Ensure compliance withdataprivacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal security policies throughout allmigrationactivities.

3.SalesforceCustomization:

• CustomizeSalesforceobjects, fields, and page layouts to meetdatamigration requirements and streamline business processes.
• Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, and custom integrations to supportdatamigrationand integration tasks.
• Design and customizeSalesforcereports and dashboards to monitormigrationprogress, dataquality, and post-migrationperformance.

4. Integration and Automation:

• IntegrateSalesforcewith external systems anddatabases using Informatica, APIs, MuleSoft, and other middleware or integration tools.
• Automatedatamigration workflows using Informatica tools andSalesforceFlow to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues to ensure seamlessdataflow betweenSalesforceand other systems.

5. CustomerDataManagement:

• Support customer management initiatives by ensuring the accurate, secure, and timelymigrationof customerdata.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts andSalesforceadministrators, to understand customerdatarequirements and align them with business objectives.
• Provide expert guidance on customerdatamanagement, dataquality measures, and best practices withinSalesforce environments.

6. Testing and Validation:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validatedatamigration processes, ensuringdataaccuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• Conductdatareconciliation, quality assessments, and root cause analysis to identify and resolvedata-related issues.
• Document and report on testing outcomes,datamigration results, and post-migrationaudits.

7. Documentation and Training:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation ofdatamigrationprocesses, including mappings, transformations, and procedures using Informatica.
• Provide training and support to team members and end-users ondatamigrationtools, processes, and best practices.
• Develop user guides and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure consistent use ofSalesforceand Informatica tools.

8. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with business analysts,Salesforce administrators, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, designmigrationsolutions, and ensure project alignment.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and timelines.
• Participate in project meetings, providing regular updates onmigrationprogress, challenges, and issue resolutions.

Qualifications:Education:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology,DataManagement, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience indatabasemigration, with a focus onSalesforceapplications and handling sensitivedata.
• Proficiency in using Informatica (PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud) fordatamigrationis required.
• Experience withSalesforcedataimport/export tools, SQL, ETL processes, anddataintegration methodologies.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise indatamigrationtools and techniques, particularly Informatica, and familiarity withSalesforceAPIs and integration methods.
• Strong experience withSalesforcecustomization, including Apex development,SalesforceFlow, and Lightning components.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms, and experience automating processes withinSalesforce.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SalesforceCertified Administrator,Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II.
• Informatica certifications (e.g., Informatica CloudDataIntegration Certification).
• Relevant certifications indatamanagement,migration, or related areas.
