Role & responsibilities

Experience with scripting languages (Selenium, RTF, QTP VB Script, and Java Script) is necessary.
Actively participate in Reviews and interprets all documentation including business requirements, functional and design specification with team leads.Expectation is resource should be working independently and should be able tcommunicate the status tthe project spoc effectively.Capability tread and understand & analyze application architecture/design documents.Excellent understanding of various SDLC processes, testing methodologies, quality standards and industry best practices.Attains and utilizes understanding of the multiple layers of supporting applications, interfaces tother products and systems, different types of databases and application development languagesReport any product defects or non-compliance with business/functional requirementsPerforms maintenance and support dutiesEnsuring conformance and application of test process management tools process and guidelinesTests all level complexity system applications and verifies all outputTest web service using tools like SOAP UI.Ensuring conformance and application of test process management tools process and guidelinesEnsuring conformance and application RUP testing discipline standardsContent testing & Administration, Quality Assurance/TestingCreate and maintain test data tsimulate real-life use casesEnsuring tools are updated like VSTS with task status, VSTS with test case updates/uploadEnsuring tools are updated like RTC with task status, RQM with test case updates/upload
