Sales Trader

As an Institutional Sales Trading professional, you will play a crucial role in expanding into new geographies such as Singapore and Hong Kong. Your primary responsibility will be client acquisition, where you will need to understand and cater to the objectives of each client segment. For Long Only Clients/Funds, you will introduce them to the Equity Research team, while for Derivative and Algo Based clients, you will connect them with the Algo/System Network Team. Building and maintaining close relationships with fund managers and fund admins will be essential, along with ensuring post onboarding revenues by collaborating effectively with internal teams. Your success in this role will be driven by your strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with your ability to network and gather market intelligence. A solid foundation in client relationship management is a must, along with a basic understanding of Indian Equity/Currency Markets. While knowledge of algorithmic trading strategies is desirable, it is not a prerequisite. Your experience and relationships with Institutional clients abroad will be valuable assets in this position. To excel in this role, you should hold a PG/MBA degree and possess 8-12 years of relevant experience.
