Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Support Specialist for Transformer Business at Hitachi Energy's Indian Operation Center in India (INOPC), your main role will be to support the South or West Africa demand side Team throughout the Sales Process. You will be responsible for writing value-added proposals for mainstream transformers, managing technical, financial, and management aspects of bids, reviewing customer specifications, and ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in communication with internal and external stakeholders, negotiation during the bidding process, and maintaining positive relationships with customers. Key Responsibilities: - Write value-added proposals for mainstream transformers and ensure they are captured in current tools. - Manage technical, financial (costs and prices), and management aspects of bids/estimates/proposals. - Review and comment on customer specifications and requirements, identifying potential risks in bids/estimates/quotations. - Assist in reviewing legal aspects such as Terms and Conditions of Sales, participate in Risk Reviews, and internal negotiation. - Communicate with internal and external stakeholders for technical and commercial clarifications. - Support negotiation/clarification during the bidding process and maintain positive relationships with customers. - Ensure cross-collaboration within the Sales team and promote collaboration with HUB BU. - Track proposal status, follow-up with customers, handle order processing, invoicing, and order collection. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity in all actions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in Transformer/Substation Sales or Tendering. - Knowledge in Power Transformer with understanding of transformer technical specifications. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and time management. - Proficiency in SAP and CRM tools like Sales force is an advantage. - Proven interpersonal abilities with peers, colleagues, superiors, customers, suppliers, and service providers. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.,
