Job Purpose

Sales Support officer - Spares (M/F/X)

The primary responsibility of this role is to generate enquiries and ensure Spare Part sales for Boilers / HRSG units. This candidate will have to continuously call various customers and spread John Cockerill capacity to support them. In case of agreement with customer, the request will be handled by Aftersales proposal team located in Belgium. Sales support officer will ensure constant communication externally with the customer and internally with the Aftersales proposal team. He/ She will ensure clear communication on both sides to convey the precise requirement of customer.

He / She is responsible to assure the administrative conformity of the tasks to the contracts and to internal quality and safety standards as defined in the QMS (quality management system) of the Energy Sector of John Cockerill.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support officer

  • Generating enquiries and converting into Orders through effective networking with customers.
  • Ensure regular follow up with customer’s and feedback to the proposal team.
  • Follow up with internal teams to meet customer timelines and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Responding to customer questions and providing support.
  • Handling order entries in system, followup for due payment
  • Assisting the sales team with reports and documentation.
  • Managing and organising sales-related documentation
  • Collaborating with different departments to facilitate efficient workflow, customer relationship management
  • Resolving customer issues, complaints and providing post-sales assistance
  • Communicating customer feedback internally to improve products and services
  • Continuous cooperation with the local market analyst.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in science / commerce from a recognized university.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Sales function (Industrial products)

Background, Profile, Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and internal teamwork.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
