Sales Specialist - Hospital Retail

The incumbent for this position will be responsible for the designated region with the objective of meeting ophthalmologists regularly to achieve revenue targets aligned with team and organizational objectives. It is essential to maintain the company's call average and fulfill ophthalmology coverage requirements within the assigned region. The primary accountabilities include managing the assigned territory, engaging with ophthalmologists, opticians, and Doctors on a regular basis, and meeting revenue targets in accordance with team and organizational goals. Collaboration with sales teams across different locations to drive revenues in the Hospital Retail Channel is crucial. Additionally, conducting customer and market development activities in coordination with line managers is a key responsibility. Key Result Areas for this role involve managing and updating a client base comprising consultant ophthalmologists, institutions, hospitals, and Doctors to enhance business for product line refraction lenses and devices. The incumbent will conduct product discussions with ophthalmologists, provide consumer education, perform retail audits, and oversee distributor activities. It is imperative to implement the company's marketing strategies consistently to achieve sales targets and product volume budgets. Adherence to reporting procedures, work schedules, and budgets is essential to maximize sales and establish efficient sales processes. Job Specifications include a requirement for the candidate to hold a graduate degree in science, pharmacy, or optometry with a strong track record, while an MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate should possess 4-12 years of successful sales experience in Product Sales, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Optical, or Ophthalmology industry.
