Job Description

As a Principal Networking Technology Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you play a crucial role in engaging with clients, identifying new opportunities, and presenting compelling value propositions. Your main responsibilities include pursuing qualified leads, developing new business channels, and expanding existing accounts. You are also tasked with generating your own pipeline and opportunities within your assigned client base. Building and nurturing client relationships is a key aspect of your role, where you act as the internal owner for assigned accounts. By becoming a trusted advisor to clients, you understand their business challenges and offer impactful solutions. Engaging in conversations at the C-level, you effectively position NTT DATA's offerings to drive expansion and renewals. Collaborating with internal teams, particularly pre-sales architects, you design optimal solutions to ensure compelling proposals are delivered on time. Leveraging your industry knowledge and data-driven insights, you stay ahead of trends and engage clients meaningfully to drive growth. Managing the entire sales process, from owning the sales cycle to structuring complex deals and negotiations, is a critical part of your role. You are responsible for minimizing client churn, maximizing retention, and fostering business growth through strong stakeholder relationships and thorough opportunity management. To excel in this position, you need to have: - Extensive experience in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals. - Proficiency in a team-selling approach and a deep understanding of successful sales strategies. - Close attention to maintaining accurate sales forecasts and close plans. - Proven ability to develop meaningful relationships with senior executives, particularly CFOs and CTOs. - Exceptional skills in delivering engaging sales presentations. - Strong negotiation skills to create beneficial solutions for all parties involved. - A client-centric mindset, with the ability to understand customer problems and provide suitable solutions. - Flexibility to adapt quickly to new missions or urgent deadlines. - A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or sales field. - Industry/Vendor sales certifications are required.
