Sales Services BHW Tester

Role Overview: As a Sales Services BHW Tester in Magarpatta, Pune, your main responsibility will be to test new features with an end-to-end business view to ensure that the business outcome meets the required standards. You will also be evangelizing test automation tools and implementing them for regression testing. Additionally, you will drive test environment setup and test data creation with a deep functional understanding of the business. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies and plans. - Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts for COBOL-based applications. - Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing. - Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand system functionality. - Validate data processing logic in COBOL programs, especially in batch and online environments. - Participate in defect management by logging, tracking, and verifying fixes. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data and assisting users. - Contribute to test automation initiatives where possible. - Ensure compliance with testing standards, best practices, and documentation requirements. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Banking/Finance Domain and Functional test preparation & execution with a minimum of 5-6 years of experience. - Hands-on experience with Test Management/test planning activities, designing test cases, user story/script creation, and execution. - Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair working, Automated Testing, Agile Games. - Knowledge of various test levels and test types: white/black box, system, performance, integration, regression testing. - Familiarity with ALM test management tool and Agile Team management tools like JIRA and Confluence. - Excellent communication skills to translate complex business processes and technical designs into easy-to-understand language. - Strong test reporting skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities effectively.
