Sales Representative

As a Sales Executive in the Building Materials Industry based in Guwahati, Lokhra, your role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with Dealers. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and generating leads within the building materials sector. Achieving and exceeding sales targets through strategic planning and client engagement is a key part of your job. Additionally, you will provide product demonstrations and technical advice to customers, conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. You will also be preparing and presenting sales proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals effectively. Coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction is vital. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with Dealers. - Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the building materials sector. - Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and client engagement. - Provide product demonstrations and technical advice to customers. - Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. - Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively. - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree - Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the building materials industry (Pipes, Sanitary Items, CP Fittings) - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. - Ability to understand technical aspects of building materials and provide solutions to clients. - Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events. As an additional detail, owning a two-wheeler for commuting is a requirement for this role. Please note that the work location for this Full-time, Permanent position is on the road.
