Job Role: Sales & Promotions Intern Job Description: Cheeky Snack Factory is not just making snacks—we’re starting a snack revolution! With our bold and beloved dosa chips leading the way, we’re looking for a high-energy Sales Intern who’s ready to hit the road, and spread the Cheeky charm far and wide. This role is tailor-made for someone who gets excited by spreadsheets, experiments with A/B testing for fun, and secretly loves consumer behavior graphs more than group selfies. You’ll blend structured analysis with on-ground learning, helping the team make smarter, faster, and bolder decisions. In a startup you will have your voice heard and contribute to a new and unique product. You’ll work closely with our sales lead and marketing teams, help execute fun events and learn the art of translating conversations into actionable insights. This is the ideal hybrid: part people-person, part spreadsheet whisperer. Objectives of the Position ● Bring the Cheeky brand to life through events, promotions, and on-the- ground engagement ● Support our Senior Sales and Business Development staff ● Run basic reporting, build dashboards, and spot patterns in consumer behavior ● Support the sales team with day-to-day promotions, data collection, and reporting ● Build and manage CRM systems to organize customer, vendor, and lead pipelines ● Build your confidence, communication, and real-world sales experience Responsibilities: The role demands the following responsibility, but is not limited to: ● Actively participating in roadshows, in-store activations, and events to engage customers and boost product visibility. Providing on-ground insights from customer interactions to improve marketing strategies ● Representing Cheeky with a friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality during events while interacting with customers ● Creating basic sales and engagement reports using Excel to track event performance ● Using basic tools (Google Forms, operating system tools) for surveys and feedback collection ● Supporting the distribution and promotion of Cheeky products across different sales points ● Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions and outcomes in the CRM ● Execute and hustle to make sure sales lands where and when it should ● Working closely with the sales and marketing teams to plan upcoming campaigns ● Being ready to travel locally to event venues, partner stores, and customer engagement points on short notice ● Always maintaining a positive brand image with clear communication and a customer-first approach KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES (KSA) Knowledge: ● Basic understanding of consumer behavior and promotions ● Interest in data analytics (You would be our nerd) ● Familiarity with MS Excel and basic digital tools ● Awareness of event dynamics and brand representation Skills: ● Excel / Google Sheets proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, filters, dashboards), as well as CRM systems (Zoho, Bizom, etc) ● Ability to create simple reporting systems and maintain clean data ● Strong communication skills in at least three languages (spoken fluency is key) ● Report generation and observation-based feedback Attributes: ● Energetic, positive, and proactive ● Self-starter with a get-it-done mindset ● Eager to travel locally and meet new people ● Adaptable, approachable, and ready for on-the-ground learning Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Ability to commute/relocate: Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Relevent: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Work Location: In person
