Sales Officer - Bathinda, Muktsar

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Market Development

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, fertilizers, and bio-products.
• Develop new markets and increase product penetration in assigned territory.
• Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and retailers.
• Ensure product availability and proper stock planning in the market.

2. Dealer & Distributor Management

• Maintain healthy relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers.
• Collect orders, follow up on dispatches, and ensure timely payments.
• Recover outstanding payments within approved credit periods.
• Monitor secondary sales and stock movement.

3. Farmer Interaction & Field Activities

• Conduct farmer meetings, village campaigns, crop seminars, and product demonstrations.
• Provide technical guidance to farmers on crop protection solutions.
• Identify crop problems and recommend suitable company products.
• Collect feedback from farmers on product performance.

4. Promotional Activities

• Execute company promotional schemes, field days, and demonstrations.
• Ensure proper branding and visibility at dealer shops.
• Distribute promotional materials like banners, posters, leaflets, and samples.
• Support product launches and seasonal campaigns.

5. Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Gather information on competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and new launches.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, tour programs, and expense statements.
• Share market feedback with seniors for strategy improvement.

6. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure sales are conducted as per company policies and government regulations.
• Promote products strictly as per label claims approved by the Insecticides Act.
• Maintain records of demos, farmer meetings, and dealer interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
