Sales Officer - Institutional sales

As a Sales Officer for Institutional Sales at our growing company specializing in Bakery, Confectionery Items, Millet-based Savories, Sweets & Snacks in Chennai, your role involves driving institutional sales by generating leads and securing daily snack supply and bulk orders for events. Your responsibilities will include building strong client relationships, achieving sales targets, conducting product presentations, and coordinating with internal teams for order execution and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Drive institutional sales by visiting companies, corporate offices, commercial establishments, NGOs, and other institutions. - Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business. - Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through new business opportunities. - Conduct product presentations, sampling, and promotional activities. - Track customer requirements, negotiate terms, and close sales deals. - Prepare sales reports and update management on market trends. - Coordinate with internal teams for seamless order execution. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience in Institutional / B2B Sales in Food & Beverages, Hospitality, or FMCG sector. - Excellent communication skills in English & Tamil. - Strong network with corporates, institutions, and event managers in Chennai. - Proven track record of exceeding sales targets. - Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and manage client expectations. - Self-motivated, dynamic, and customer-focused professional.
