Sales Officer- FMCG (Whole Spices)

As a Sales Manager at VEGA FOOD TECH, your role involves strategizing and executing sales plans at the city/town level with a team of Sales Representatives. Your responsibilities include enrolling distributors outside Guwahati in various towns in Assam, as well as enrolling departmental stores. It is essential to achieve both Primary and Secondary sales targets. You will be responsible for preparing sales beats for the Sales representatives, assisting them in meeting their sales targets, and devising a demand plan based on market requirements to ensure adequate stock availability in the factory. Qualifications required for this role include a minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG Field Sales, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in sales of Whole Spices/Spice Powders. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory for calculating margins, discounts, and schemes. Knowledge of the Guwahati market and nearby towns is a prerequisite. Strong team handling and negotiation skills are essential, along with owning a two-wheeler for travel convenience.
