Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for guest rooms, events, and other hotel services.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, meeting planners, and tour operators.
  • Respond to inquiries and conduct site visits to showcase hotel services and amenities.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activity to identify opportunities for differentiation and market positioning.

2. Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure that the hotels brand and promotional materials align with the sales strategy.
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and establish industry connections.
  • Collaborate with the front desk, events, and catering teams to ensure smooth guest experiences and successful events.

3. Marketing & Promotion

  • Collaborate with the marketing department to create targeted campaigns and promotions that align with sales goals.
  • Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows, and familiarization (FAM) tours for potential clients.
  • Work with online platforms (OTAs, websites, social media) to enhance online visibility and sales.

4. Budgeting & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports for the management team, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Manage sales budgets and allocate resources efficiently to achieve optimal outcomes.

5. Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market research to understand local demand, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
  • Analyze feedback from guests, clients, and prospects to identify service improvements or new opportunities.

6. Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure alignment in strategy and implementation.
  • Train, guide, and support junior sales staff, if applicable, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
