As a Scientific Sales Manager/Executive based in Kolkata, your role involves identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to existing customer bases across the region. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends and competitors" activities, conducting market analysis, and gathering intelligence to ascertain market needs to plan offerings. Furthermore, you will carry out existing/new customer analysis to understand requirements for cross-selling during onboarding/closure and building better customer relationships to ensure customer service quality is managed effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Effectively manage and drive the sales cycle from prospection through to successful closure. - Build strong relationships with key accounts in the region. - Develop a sustainable and robust pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and planning. - Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to meet regional revenue goals. - Prepare regular reports and conduct monthly meetings to review performance. - Develop and execute plans for improving the overall performance of the region, including increasing customer base, customer onboarding, company policy and process adherence, and improving financial performance. - Prepare or validate various reports needed for management information periodically. - Achieve monthly targets without compromising on the quality of the customers onboarded. - Monitor, develop, and support the capability of team members, provide timely feedback.
