Sales Manager

Job Title:

Location: Preferred: Ludhiana (Punjab)

Second Preference: Delhi/NCR

Salary: Under 12 LPA - 14LPA

Primary Tasks & Activities

• Develop and manage the assigned territory to achieve business objectives.
• Generate sales leads and allocate them to the team/subordinates for follow-up.
• Update and maintain technical brochures on a regular basis.
• Identify, onboard, and manage suitable channel partners.
• Proactively seek new customers, understand their requirements, and resolve issues effectively.
• Attend industry exhibitions, distributor meetings, and trade shows.
• Visit existing and prospective customers to build relationships, follow up on leads, conduct trials, and close sales opportunities.
• Deliver professional sales presentations and close deals effectively.
• Recommend appropriate products and conduct technical presentations for growers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technical developments impacting target markets.
• Participate actively in scheduled sales review and conference calls.
• Lead and support field-based, customer-specific product trials.

A. Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in

  Textile Chemistry

  (MBA preferred).

• 10–15 years

  of technical sales experience in the

  chemical industry

  .
• Prior experience in

  specialty chemicals or textile chemicals

  will be an added advantage.

B. Skills & Knowledge

1. Functional Skills

• Strong experience in

  B2B corporate sales

  .
• Proven capability in setting up and managing

  channel networks for retail sales

  .
• Sound knowledge of

  chemical industry trends

  , preferably in specialty or textile chemicals.
• Thorough familiarity with the assigned geography:

  Jammu, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh

  .
• Experience in

  managing sales teams

  of 2–4 members.

2. Computer Skills

• Proficient in

  MS Excel, MS Word, and email platforms

  (Outlook/Gmail).
• Working knowledge of

  Tally

  will be preferred.
