About the Role

Sales Manager

Mumbai (Andheri East)

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, site visits, technical discussions, proposal submission, negotiation, and closure.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical sessions to support customer decision-making.
  • Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure accurate solutions and effective post-sales support.
  • Understand customer applications and provide suitable product recommendations based on technical needs.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback for strategic insights.
  • Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and monthly sales reports.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on proposals, technical queries, and payment collections.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and promotional activities.
  • Maintain CRM entries, sales documentation, and reports as per company standards.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Eligibility Conditions for Applicants

 

  1. Experience:

    Minimum 10 years of sales experience in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile, Capital Equipment, Construction Machinery, or similar sectors.
  2. Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or MBA (Sales/Marketing preferred).
  3. Industry Exposure:

    Hands-on experience in B2B technical sales, preferably high-value capital equipment.
  4. Technical Knowledge:

    Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industrial machinery, or equipment applications.
  5. Travel Readiness:

    Willingness to travel frequently for client visits, site meetings, and field activities.
  6. Communication Skills:

    Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Tools & Reporting:

    Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
  8. Sales Cycle Expertise:

    Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  9. Industry Network (Preferred):

    Existing connections in infrastructure, mining, construction equipment, or capital equipment sectors.
  10. Location Requirement:

    Willing to work from Andheri East, Mumbai and travel extensively.
