Sales Manager - Burckhardt Compression -Pune Location

Role & responsibilities

• Study of customer enquiry document and arrange all the supporting documents for quotation.

• Role would focus on selling and promoting biogas compressors to various industries.

• This role would involve identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, developing sales strategies, and closing deals.

• Strong technical knowledge of biogas compressors, excellent sales and communication skills.

• Meet customer timelines with close coordination with application team.
• To review commercial terms & conditions and prepare compliances / deviations and prepare techno-commercial bid document.
• Participate in technical & commercial discussions.
• Interact with customers to resolve all their queries related to the project till receipt of order.
• Smooth Order Transfer in a timely manner
• Liaison within the organization for technical requirement of the inquiry.
• Solve the queries of execution team if any during order transfer meeting.
• Develop and maintain business relationship with existing and potential customers & presenting company profile, plans and detailed technical presentation.
• Search for new opportunities within the domestic market.
• Support project execution team to resolve critical issues with customers.
• Regular feedback from the customers to identify improvement areas.
• Maintain & adhere QMS & procedures

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with minimum 10+ years experience in Sales, MBA Marketing will be added advantage
• Customer centric approach with good negotiation skills
• Good Business Acumen
• Knowledge of reciprocating compressors or other Rotating equipment shall be an advantage
• Ensure customer satisfaction in pre-order phase as per company guideline.
• Early identification of opportunities
• Achieve sales forecast as planned
• Able to handle multiple inquiries, multitasking etc.
