Role & Responsibility:

  • Progressive experience in sales and business development roles across multiple markets and channels.
  • Ensure primary and secondary sales through successful distribution channels, effective displays, merchandising, and efficient management of sales officers and other distribution resources.
  • Strengthen the distribution network and infrastructure of RDs and dealers to increase product penetration and expand new sales channels.
  • Extensive experience with a proven track record in channel sales. Preferred industries: Consumer Electronics, Consumer Durables, and Electronics.
  • Dynamic relationship builder with customers, with a proven track record of identifying new opportunities and negotiating complex business deals for mutual benefit.
  • Effectively manage Sales Officers through motivation, training, development, and productivity enhancement.
  • Ensure stock availability at optimum levels with RDs within the assigned territory.
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
  • Provide innovative ideas and suggestions to improve market presence.
  • Conduct market research to analyze competitors and market trends.
  • Provide timely feedback to the Area Sales Manager regarding sales performance and market intelligence.
  • Manage all aspects of new product sales, including RD appointments and trade channel development.
  • Create, implement, and manage strategic sales plans to achieve annual, quarterly, and monthly targets.
  • Gather and share feedback from customers and partners.
  • Ensure the overall smooth functioning of all channel partners across the assigned business territory.
  • Perform day-to-day management duties, including supervision, goal setting, recruitment, and performance reviews.
  • The ideal candidate should be proficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet).
  • Travel:

    Approximately 70% travel required.
