Sales HR Executive for a FMCG co at Coimbatore

Industry:

Role Objective:

To manage HR operations specifically for the sales force by ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, performance monitoring, and employee engagement of sales personnel across regions, in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Source, screen, and recruit Sales Executives, Territory Sales Officers, and other field staff.
  • Coordinate with regional sales managers to understand manpower requirements.
  • Conduct telephonic interviews and schedule final rounds.
  • Ensure timely onboarding, documentation, and induction of new joinees in sales function.

2. Sales Team HR Operations

  • Maintain region-wise sales manpower strength tracker.
  • Monitor attendance, field movement, and joining/exit compliance of sales staff.
  • Coordinate salary inputs, sales incentives, and attendance-related HR support.

3. Performance & Compliance

  • Assist in tracking sales performance KPIs and link them with HR evaluations.
  • Work with sales managers to identify low performers and initiate improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, code of conduct, and statutory requirements.

4. Training & Development

  • Coordinate product training, sales behavior training, and market orientation programs.
  • Support field staff with HR guidance on performance expectations and career path.

5. Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Conduct regular connect calls with field sales team to address HR issues.
  • Implement engagement activities and retention strategies for sales workforce.
  • Handle grievances, resolve conflicts, and ensure a positive work culture in sales team.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate / MBA in HR or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in HR operations, preferably in FMCG Sales.
  • Strong understanding of sales workforce management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS tracking, HRIS tools.
