Sales Head - West

Role Overview: As a senior leader in the sales department of our client, a large Indian conglomerate in the chemical and polymers industry, you will be responsible for leading a large-scale sales operation in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Your primary focus will be on driving strategic business growth and shaping the future of a key business segment. Key Responsibilities: - Create and implement a regional sales strategy for the additives, resins, solvents, and polymers segments. - Lead and manage a sales team of 10-12 professionals to achieve business targets. - Manage both distributor and direct customer sales with a balanced focus. - Conduct sales planning and analysis to identify market trends and opportunities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical services. - Address and resolve customer complaints effectively. - Uphold and ensure compliance with workplace safety, IMS, and ESG standards. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 15 years of sales experience in the chemical, plastic, or polymer industry. - Proven track record of handling a business size of 350 crores or more. - Balanced experience in both distributor sales and direct customer sales. - Strong team-handling experience, ideally managing a team of 10-12 people. - Mandatory post-graduate qualification (MBA or equivalent). - Experience in key account management is a plus. - Must be comfortable with Andheri (Mumbai) as the base location.,
