Sales Head

Role & responsibilities

The Head of Sales will lead commercial strategy, drive revenue growth, and manage global business development for a cosmetic ingredient manufacturing company specializing in active and functional materials for skincare, haircare, and personal care applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume and profitability targets across domestic and export markets.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with formulators, cosmetic brands, and contract manufacturers.
• Identify new business opportunities in emerging markets and high-growth product categories.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of regional sales managers and key account executives.
• Collaborate with R&D and marketing teams to align product innovation with customer needs.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activities to refine sales plans.
• Represent the company at major trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Ensure efficient CRM usage, pipeline management, and accurate sales forecasting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience in cosmetic ingredients or specialty chemicals.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Proven track record of achieving growth targets and building high-performance teams.
• Excellent communication and global client relationship management skills.
