Job Description

Position: Sales Executive / Manager – Plastics & Chemicals

Overview

plastics and chemical industry

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Generate new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts.
Identify and qualify leads in the
plastics and chemical industry
, focusing on products such as PVC pipes, masterbatches, and compounds.
Manage complex negotiations with senior decision-makers in manufacturing, distribution, and trading companies.
Build rapport and establish long-term partnerships with customers by providing technical and commercial support.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

1–5 years of proven sales experience in
plastics, chemicals, or related industries
.
Strong understanding of products such as PVC resins, masterbatches, plastic additives, and compounds.
Demonstrable track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical and commercial solutions effectively.
Negotiation and relationship management skills to handle senior-level customers.

Preferred

Background in
chemical engineering / polymer science / plastics technology
is an added advantage.
Network of existing customers in the plastics, pipe manufacturing, or compounding industry.
