Role & responsibilities

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team for trade fairs and exhibitions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting our products or services at trade fairs, and building strong relationships with potential and existing clients. The role will involve planning, executing, and maximizing sales at various trade events, ensuring our brand is represented effectively and targets are met.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Sales and Business Development:

  •             Identify and target potential clients before, during, and after trade fairs.
  •             Present and promote services to potential clients at trade events.
  •             Close sales deals and meet monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  •             Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  •             Negotiate terms and agreements to secure contracts.

Event Planning and Coordination:

  •             Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure trade fair booths and promotional materials align with the companys objectives.
  •             Coordinate logistics for trade fairs, including booth setup and staffing.
  •             Attend and represent the company at industry-specific trade fairs, exhibitions, and events.
  •             Lead Generation and Follow-Up:
  •             Generate high-quality leads through networking, event participation, and customer interactions.
  •             Follow up on leads post-event and maintain a pipeline of opportunities.
  •             Track and manage sales prospects and customer interactions using CRM software.

Market Research:

  •             Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities at trade fairs and exhibitions.
  •             Gather and analyze competitor information to identify potential sales strategies.
  •             Customer Service and Relationship Management:
  •             Provide after-sales support and customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
  •             Act as a liaison between the company and the customer for all post-event communication.

Reporting and Feedback:

  •             Report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team.
  •             Assist in developing strategies to improve sales and brand recognition at future trade events.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role in a trade fair or events environment.

  •             Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  •             Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •             Results-driven with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  •             Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  •             Experience using CRM software and other sales tools.
  •             Knowledge of industry-specific products/services and trade fair dynamics.
  •             Willingness to travel as required for trade fair participation.

Education and Experience:

A bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in trade fair or event-related sales.
