Job Title: Sales Executive – Construction Field

Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore
Department: Sales
Reports To: Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to drive sales and foster relationships within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction field, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate leads through networking, site visits, and referrals to expand the client base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and project managers.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed sales targets set by the organization.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s construction products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Site Visits: Visit construction sites to meet with decision-makers and understand project requirements.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver detailed sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms, close deals, and follow up on contract execution.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the construction or related industry.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction materials, tools, or machinery is an advantage.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and visit sites.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly and quarterly sales targets achieved.
  • Number of new clients onboarded.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rate.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reports.
