Sales Executive

Department: Sales & Marketing

Role Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and offering suitable products or services. The role involves lead generation, product demonstration, negotiation, and closing sales to achieve monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through calls, visits, social media, and networking.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products/services.
  • Conduct product presentations and demos.
  • Follow up with customers for inquiries and convert leads into sales.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers for repeat business and referrals.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain records of calls, leads, and conversions in CRM/software.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional activities.
  • Provide accurate sales reports to the manager.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge, pricing, and competitor activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Convincing and negotiation ability.
  • Customer handling skills and problem-solving attitude.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM).
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Time management and follow-up discipline.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12th pass / Graduate preferred.
  • Experience in sales (1–3 years) preferred; freshers can also apply.
  • For automobile/furniture/real estate sectors — product knowledge is a plus.

Salary Range

  • Fixed salary + incentives (industry dependent).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
