Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Understand and demonstrate our products to potential clients.
• Identify and engage potential customers across locations.
• Conduct on-site product demos, explain technical details, and showcase ROI.
• Generate leads through field visits, networking, and industry associations.
• Work closely with the technical/product team to provide customer feedback for improvements.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure post-sale support handover.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to market expansion.
• Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in

  Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Textile Technology, or related field.

• 13 years of experience in technical sales / B2B sales (preferably in industrial automation, textile machinery, or software solutions).
• Strong understanding of

  automation, sensors, AI applications, or textile processes

  (training will be provided).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in

  English and Tamil

  (Hindi is a plus).
• Ability to travel frequently to client locations across Tamil Nadu.
• Self-driven, persuasive, and comfortable working in a startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Indian market and customer preferences.
• Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools.
• Previous experience in Textile technology is a plus.
• Language proficiency in multiple languages to cater to a diverse customer base.
