Sales Engineer - Mechanical Items

You will be working as a Sales Engineer at Oriental Trading Company, located in Daryaganj, New Delhi, with a field role encompassing Delhi-NCR and nearby areas. As an authorized distributor for various renowned companies, including L&T Valves, Parker Legris/Laminar Industries, Rolcon Engineering Co. Ltd., Lubgraf Products, and Ashirvad by Aliaxis, we take pride in our exceptional product range. Your primary responsibility will involve promoting and selling mechanical products such as valves, lubricants, and chains to clients in the designated regions. This client-facing role requires you to build and nurture strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products accordingly. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain existing client connections, acquire new accounts, collaborate with the internal team for order processing, and offer essential after-sales technical support and product training when necessary. To be eligible for this position, you should possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Science Graduate degree along with at least 3-4 years of field sales experience in industrial/mechanical products. A robust technical understanding of mechanical products like valves, lubricants, and chains is crucial, along with excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Moreover, owning a two-wheeler for field visits is a prerequisite for this role.
