Sales Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for modular storage and racking systems.
  
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to understand requirements.
  
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and solutions.
  
• Ensure accurate costing, estimation, and techno-commercial negotiations with customers.
  
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to order finalization and collection follow-up.
  
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide after-sales support.
  
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide feedback to management for strategy.
  
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  
• Travel to customer sites for surveys, presentations, and project discussions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in material handling, storage, or fabrication sector.
  
• Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, racking systems, and warehouse solutions.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  
• Proficiency in ERP, MS Office, and basic design understanding (AutoCAD/SolidWorks preferred).
  
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
• Willingness to travel extensively across regions for client visits.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate customer needs into solutions.
