Sales Engineer (Capital Equipment)

As a Sales Engineer at Ralsonics, you will play a crucial role in leading the sales of capital equipment to a diverse clientele across sixteen industrial sectors. Your responsibilities will include generating leads, meeting with customers to understand their technical needs, collaborating with the proposals team, and ultimately closing orders in a competitive market landscape. To excel in this field-based B2B role, you will need to leverage your excellent technical understanding, interpersonal skills, and consultative selling abilities. Your background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field will be essential, along with at least 2-6 years of experience in B2B sales of capital goods, industrial machinery, or automation systems. Your day-to-day tasks will involve visiting industrial customers to comprehend their application requirements, building strong relationships with various teams at client sites, developing custom technical-commercial offers in coordination with the Proposals Engineer, conducting product demos and presentations, and following up on proposals to ensure successful closure. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated on competitor offerings, pricing trends, and customer feedback while maintaining accurate lead and opportunity data in the CRM system. Fluency in English, Hindi, and preferably one regional language will be advantageous for effective communication with clients. You should also be willing to travel frequently for client visits and demos. Exposure to ultrasonic cleaning, parts washing systems, or industrial surface treatment equipment, as well as familiarity with CRM tools like Zoho or Salesforce, will be considered as preferred skills.
