Job Summary: The Sales Engineer / Assistant Sales Manager in the elevator industry is responsible for generating sales, building relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise in elevator products and services. The role involves prospecting new customers, maintaining existing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities for elevator sales. Generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking, and referrals. Prepare and present sales proposals, tenders, and quotations to clients. Negotiate and close sales contracts to meet revenue targets. Develop long-term relationships with customers, consultants, and contractors. 2. Technical Consultation & Product Knowledge: Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable elevator solutions. Provide technical presentations and demonstrations of elevator products. Stay updated on elevator industry trends, regulations, and technologies. 3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, builders, architects, consultants, and facility managers. Address client inquiries, provide after-sales support, and ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct site visits and coordinate with installation and service teams. 4. Coordination & Project Management: Work closely with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution. Coordinate with internal departments for pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical ) or Business Management. 1-5 years of experience in sales within the elevator or related industry. Strong technical understanding of elevators, escalators, and lift systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Willingness to travel frequently.
