Job Description: Sales Engineer – Water Treatment

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Engineer with strong experience in high-purity water and water treatment systems. The role focuses on sales of spares, O&M services, revamp and retrofit projects, along with developing long-term customer relationships across assigned regions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) spares, services, revamp and retrofit solutions
  • Visit customers extensively to understand requirements and generate business enquiries
  • Engage in techno-commercial discussions and propose suitable solutions
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop competitive proposals
  • Submit offers in consultation with HO team and follow up to convert into orders
  • Achieve sales targets as defined in the Annual Business Plan (ABP)
  • Handle proposal management including inquiry evaluation and costing
  • Track, analyze, and report sales & marketing activities periodically
  • Analyze market trends and update internal stakeholders
  • Map customers and monitor competitor activities in assigned territory
  • Build strong relationships with industrial clients for business development
  • Provide technical suggestions and troubleshooting support based on customer pain points

Technical & Product Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Water Treatment Plants (WTP), RO systems, and process engineering
  • Hands-on exposure to latest water treatment technologies
  • Knowledge of plant processes, components, and operational challenges

Mandatory Requirements

  • 4–6 years of direct industrial sales experience in O&M/Services and spares within the water treatment sector
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong industrial customer network in the assigned region
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local language
  • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territory
  • Strong negotiation, convincing, and customer-handling skills
  • Ability to provide solution-oriented recommendations to customers

  • Self-motivated with high focus on monthly and annual targets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹154,486.24 - ₹866,045.47 per year
