Job Description

As a Sales Director for Oracle Communications Global Industry Unit (CGIU) in India, you will be responsible for leading the Networking Solutions business. Your role will involve driving strategic growth for Oracle's networking portfolio, establishing strong regional relationships, and delivering targeted outcomes with communications service providers and large enterprises. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute the sales strategy for Oracle's CGIU Networking Solutions in India to achieve revenue growth and market share goals. - Build and lead a team of regional sales professionals, focusing on recruiting, coaching, and fostering a culture of performance and collaboration. - Establish trust-based relationships at the C-level and with key decision-makers in telecommunications carriers, service providers, and large enterprise customers. - Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities leveraging deep networking domain expertise. - Collaborate effectively with internal teams to align on customer needs and deliver world-class network solutions. - Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory factors in the India market and adapt strategy as required. - Provide accurate forecasting, robust pipeline management, and actionable reporting to leadership. - Ensure all business activities align with Oracle's ethics, compliance, and information security standards. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (advanced degree preferred). - 10+ years of sales experience in the telecommunications/networking sector, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership capacity. - Deep domain knowledge in 3GPP defined Network capabilities. - Ability to lead high-performing sales teams across multiple countries and cultures. - Track record of exceeding ambitious sales targets in complex environments. - Strong executive presence, communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills. - Willingness to travel extensively within the JAPAC region. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a large global technology or telecommunication provider. - Familiarity with Oracle Communications/CGIU Networking Solutions portfolio or competitor solutions. - Experience working with direct customers and through partners/channel ecosystems.
