Job Description

As an ICM developer within Global Incentive Compensations (GIC) at Salesforce, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and testing systems used for compensating the Salesforce sales organization and internal teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that these systems meet business user requirements, IT and Finance audit guidelines, and contribute to effective sales compensation strategies. To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience in Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) and possess a blend of strong technical skills and functional expertise. Your responsibilities will include managing and optimizing the ICM platform, customizing and configuring processes, integrating systems, and handling data management tasks within Salesforce. Key Responsibilities: ICM (Incentive Compensation Management): - Understand various incentive compensation models, commission structures, bonus programs, and sales performance metrics within Salesforce. - Demonstrate strong experience with compensation systems such as Spiff, Everstage, Captivate IQ, Varicent, or Xactly. - Develop and test processes using tools like Xactly Connect or other ETL tools to facilitate the movement of reference and transactional data. - Provide insights and analysis on compensation plans, recommending improvements based on system data. - Implement ICM solutions effectively. Salesforce Data Management: - Conduct data imports/exports and cleanup activities as required. - Preferably have experience in Salesforce Administration, SOQL, Apex, JavaScript (Lightning), and VisualForce to ensure data integrity and enforce data governance best practices. Collaboration and Communication: - Regularly update stakeholders on ICM performance. - Stay informed about best practices and emerging technologies in Salesforce administration and ICM management. Skills and Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required, with 3 to 5 years preferred. - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience. - Understanding of database infrastructure and concepts. - Experience in developing customer-facing interfaces. - Strong problem-solving skills for software and application issues. - Familiarity with Agile (scrum) framework is preferred.
