Position Title: Sales Assistant - Oncology
Department: Oncology Business Unit
Location: Head Office, Mumbai
Reports to: National Sales Manager - Oncology

Role Purpose

To provide comprehensive coordination, analytical, and administrative support to the Oncology Sales Leadership Team. The role ensures smooth business operations, timely communication, accurate reporting, and effective execution of all sales and business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordination & Operational Support

  • Act as the central coordination point for the Oncology Sales Team (NSM, RSMs, ASMs, KAMs).

  • Manage team calendars, travel arrangements, meetings, expense claims, and logistics for internal events.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of sales cycle meetings, business reviews, and training programs.

  • Maintain departmental records, trackers, and internal databases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as HR, Finance, Admin, and Medical Affairs to ensure seamless execution of business deliverables.

2. MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare and distribute monthly MIS reports, performance dashboards, and field productivity trackers.

  • Collect and consolidate sales data from field teams for management presentations and performance reviews.

  • Monitor sales budgets, expense utilization, and manpower updates.

  • Support HRBP and the National Sales Manager in incentive calculations, performance analyses, and audit-related documentation.

3. Communication & Planning

  • Draft and circulate internal communications, meeting minutes, and follow-up action trackers.

  • Facilitate effective communication between Head Office and field teams to ensure alignment on business priorities.

  • Assist in organizing regional meetings, conferences, and internal engagement initiatives.

  • Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism across all communications and reports.

Profile Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline.

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales coordination, business support, or administrative roles.

  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage.

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Interfaces

Internal: NSM, RSMs, ASMs, KAMs, HR, Finance, Admin, Marketing, and Medical Affairs.
External: Vendors, training partners, and logistics agencies.
