Job Title: Marketing Coordinator – Neuro and Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator with prior experience in healthcare to support the marketing and outreach efforts for our neuro and orthopedic rehabilitation services. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in promoting our specialized rehabilitation programs, building relationships with referral sources, and enhancing brand visibility within the healthcare community. This position requires a deep understanding of healthcare marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to drive patient engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Campaign Development and Execution:

  • Plan, create, and implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote neuro and orthopedic rehabilitation services to patients, families, physicians, and healthcare organizations.
  • Develop content for digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media posts, email newsletters, and website updates.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).

Community and Referral Source Outreach:

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources such as neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and case managers to drive patient referrals.
  • Organize and attend community events, health fairs, and professional conferences to promote rehabilitation services.
  • Coordinate educational workshops or seminars for healthcare providers and community members on topics related to neuro and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Digital Marketing and Social Media:

  • Manage social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) to share success stories, patient testimonials (with consent), and educational content about rehabilitation.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics (e.g., website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates) to optimize campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with the web team to update website content, ensuring accurate representation of neuro and orthopedic rehabilitation services.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities in the neuro and orthopedic rehabilitation sector.
  • Analyze patient demographics and referral patterns to inform marketing strategies and improve outreach efforts.

Event and Program Support:

  • Assist in planning and executing patient-focused events, such as recovery milestone celebrations or support groups for neurological and orthopedic conditions.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to highlight unique aspects of rehabilitation programs in marketing efforts.

Administrative and Reporting Duties:

  • Track and report on marketing campaign performance, referral growth, and ROI to leadership.
  • Manage marketing budgets and coordinate with vendors (e.g., printers, graphic designers, digital ad platforms).
  • Maintain a database of referral sources and track outreach activities using CRM software.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of marketing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a healthcare setting (e.g., hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation center).
  • Prior experience in neuro or orthopedic rehabilitation marketing is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare marketing principles and regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms, email marketing software like Mailchimp).
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking referrals and outreach.
  • Ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of neuro and orthopedic conditions (e.g., stroke, spinal cord injury, joint replacement) and rehabilitation processes is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign), and content management systems (CMS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with patient advocacy groups or community organizations focused on neurological or orthopedic conditions.
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM strategies to enhance online visibility.
  • Certification in marketing or healthcare marketing (e.g., CHM – Certified Healthcare Marketer) is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • This role may require occasional travel for community events, conferences, or meetings with referral sources.
  • Hybrid or in-office work environment, depending on organizational needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff, administrative teams, and external partners.
