Occupational Therapist (OT)

The Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates, plans, and delivers therapy services to individuals who experience physical, developmental, sensory, or cognitive challenges. The OT supports clients in developing, recovering, or maintaining the skills needed for daily living, learning, work, and participation in meaningful activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ physical, emotional, sensory, and cognitive abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and client goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living, motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Adapt environments, activities, and equipment to promote independence and safety
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home programs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, teachers, therapists, and caregivers
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes accurately
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards, policies, and applicable regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (as required by state/country)
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience working with specific populations (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health, rehabilitation)
• Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment
• Strong documentation and organizational skills

Work Environment

• May include hospitals, clinics, schools, rehabilitation centers, or community-based settings
• May involve standing, lifting, or assisting clients during therapy sessions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
