Job Description: As a Cutting Tools Designer at SST Cutting Tools in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and servicing industry for carbide cutting tools. Your primary responsibility will be to understand customer component requirements and design suitable tools, including standard or special customized cutting tools. By leveraging your expertise in cutting tool design, you will aim to reduce the number of tools required and optimize the cost per component (CPC). To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in cutting tools design and design engineering. Your experience in understanding component dimensions requirements will be essential in creating efficient and effective cutting tools. Proficiency in CAD software is a must as you will be using it extensively for designing cutting tools. Additionally, your knowledge of machining materials and coatings commonly used in cutting tool manufacturing will be beneficial for the role. Problem-solving and analytical skills are key attributes that will help you succeed in this position.
