As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out safety audits, conducting safety trainings regularly, and identifying hazards and assessing risks for all activities at frequent intervals. You will ensure 100% PPE usage, maintain close coordination with contractors for contractors" safety, and establish and follow fire safety mechanisms. Your role will also involve documentation, reporting, and developing a positive safety culture throughout the factory. Additionally, you will be required to handle technical aspects related to unsafe acts and conditions and should be familiar with MS Office. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the Switchyard and Power Transformer areas through meticulous execution of maintenance activities at Adani Power Limited. Your role will be crucial in upholding safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability standards while driving process improvements and innovation. As the Lead Electrical Switchyard, you will coordinate with stakeholders and embrace Digitalisation and automation to enhance operational effectiveness. Your main responsibilities will include: - Executing electrical maintenance activities for the Switchyard, Power Transformer Area, and associated areas to ensure continuous operational reliability. - Implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. - Engaging in repairing and refurbishment activities for associated area equipment, ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out to the highest standards. - Monitoring the condition and availability of all switchyard equipment, troubleshoot equipment failures, and conduct equipment failure analysis to prevent recurrence and improve system reliability. - Identifying and acting on opportunities for process and system enhancements to meet evolving operational needs and directives from leadership. - Providing accurate and timely information for Necessary Formal Approvals (NFAs) for license renewals and contributing to the preparation of comprehensive reports for RCA, FMEA, ZFO, and technical audits. You will also play a key role in maintaining maintenance standards and specifications, supporting business sustainability initiatives, and implementing digitalisation and automation solutions. Your interactions will involve internal stakeholders from all departments and service departments, as well as external stakeholders such as contractors providing materials and services. To qualify for this role, you should have a BE/B.tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, along with 11+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within power distribution. Preferred industry experience includes working in the power generation, transmission, or distribution industry, with a focus on switchyard operations and maintenance.,

Role and Responsibilities Safety personnel shall be responsible for safety compliance at client site. Conducting safety inductions / Trainings at site for spreading safety awareness. Provide updates to clients at site on regular intervals, attending weekly safety meetings at site. Making sure that employees working at site are adhering to safety norms / instructions by wearing safety shoes, Helmet, safety Florescent Jacket, proper ladders, Displaying Safety Instruction/ posters at site for safety awareness. Education- Graduate/Diploma in fire & Safety
