Senior Engineer - Operations & Maintenance

Role Overview: As a Lead Electrical Switchyard & Transformer at Adani Power Limited, your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the Switchyard and Power Transformer areas through meticulous execution of maintenance activities. Upholding safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability standards while driving process improvements and innovation are key aspects of this position. Key Responsibilities: - Execute electrical maintenance activities for the Switchyard, Power Transformer Area, and associated areas to ensure continuous operational reliability. - Implement comprehensive maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. - Overhaul during outages and manage maintenance projects efficiently within budgets and manpower allocation. - Monitor the condition and availability of all switchyard equipment, troubleshoot equipment failures, and conduct equipment failure analysis to prevent recurrence and improve system reliability. - Create PRs for materials and services, prepare SES for completed services, and utilize SAP for tracking maintenance activities. - Identify and act on opportunities for process and system enhancements, update SOPs, JSAs, and SMPs, and ensure compliance with maintenance standards and specifications. - Provide support for communications with regulatory authorities, ensure quality assurance processes, and assist in the preparation of reports for maintenance activities. - Implement sustainability guidelines, participate in mock drills and hazard mitigation processes, maintain compliance with legal requirements, and conduct safety trainings for all business associates and employees. - Support digitalization strategies and implement automation solutions to optimize operational efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Hold a BE/B.tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. - Have at least 4+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within power distribution. - Preferred industry experience includes the power generation, transmission, or distribution sector, with a focus on switchyard operations and maintenance.,
