Mechanical jobs- Bolted structure; welding, gas cutting, scaffolding, grinding, working at height, rope access

Role Description

1). Make daily visits to each site under his charge and document the daily safety activities,

inspections and observations. Such daily logs must be submitted to the Site Manager/Contractor

Manager/ Safety Office and field.

2). Issue a detailed Weekly Safety Report in the format including

o Corrective actions for near misses & incidents

o Training reports

o SWPs reviewed and gaps found

o Non-compliances recorded by the site safety supervisors

o Identification of sites with maximum non-compliance – top 20%

o Identification of best work sites- for rewards which TSL management may

decide from time to time.

3). Prepare monthly safety training calendar at start of the month and release for implementation.

4). All safety related documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma
• JNTVTI (SAFETY SUPERVISOR)
• Safety technical course (ADIS, PGDIS, NEBOSH, IOSH ETC.)
