Safety Officer / Supervisor

As a Safety Compliance and Risk Management professional, your role involves ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal electrical safety regulations. You will be responsible for conducting regular safety audits and inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will perform risk assessments, provide recommendations to mitigate risks, and investigate incidents and near-misses related to electrical systems. - Develop and implement electrical safety policies and procedures - Conduct safety training sessions for employees - Create educational materials and programs to enhance safety awareness - Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations - Develop and implement emergency response plans for electrical incidents - Coordinate with emergency services - Lead emergency drills and simulations - Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, and incident reports - Prepare and submit safety reports to regulatory agencies - Track key safety performance indicators (KPIs) - Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's electrical safety program - Review electrical design changes to ensure appropriate safety features - Provide electrical safety support to construction projects - Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective implementation of electrical safe work practices Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree preferred - Minimum 2 years of experience in safety plans required - Willingness to travel 75% preferred The company provides benefits such as food, health insurance, and provident fund.
