Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety standards and procedures in compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits across all departments.
• Identify potential hazards and ensure preventive and corrective actions are taken.
• Organize and conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and suggest corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws, rules, and guidelines (Factories Act, OSHA, etc.).
• Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records as per legal and company requirements.
• Support emergency response planning and conduct mock drills periodically.
• Liaise with external agencies (Factory Inspector, Pollution Control Board, Fire Department) as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or any Technical field.
• Certification: ADIS (Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety) or PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) – Mandatory.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial/construction safety.
• Knowledge: HSE standards, risk management, and compliance regulations.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Computer Proficiency: MS Office, safety audit tools, and report preparation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
