Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Officer, located in Kamuthi. The Safety Officer will be responsible for overseeing workplace health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing safety protocols, carrying out accident investigations, and providing employee safety training. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. The Safety Officer will also be expected to collaborate with various departments to address and mitigate safety risks effectively.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
Experience in conducting thorough Accident Investigations and reporting accurate findings
Proficiency in Security procedures related to workplace safety
Expertise in developing and delivering effective Safety Training programs
Ability to stay current with local and international safety regulations and standards
Strong communication and organizational skills
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or related fields is highly desirable
Previous experience in a safety management or advisory role is a plus
