Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. A Fire and Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of an organizations personnel and property from fire hazards and other safety risks.
2. Fire Safety Management3. Inspections 4. Training & Awareness 5. Emergency Response

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree. (Degree/Diploma in safety, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene or a related field will be a plus)

Proficiency in safety auditing, inspection and identifying hazards.
Well-versed in creating emergency response plans tailored to various scenarios
.

Expertise in using and maintaining safety equipment like fire extinguishers, eye protection and hazardous material protection.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.

Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

Provide fire prevention, industrial safety, and hazard identification training to staff members.
