Safety Officer

Putting safety firstalways

• Lead efforts to build and maintain an environmentally sustainable, healthy, and safe workplace
• Provide safety support to all projects, ensuring compliance with JLL standards and local regulations
• Conduct safety review meetings with project and design teams at the project initiation stage
• Ensure all high-risk activities have appropriate Safety Work Method Statements (SWMS)
• Promote workplace safety through site inspections, risk reporting, corrective actions, and weekly safety meetings
• Coordinate with project managers and operations managers to ensure site safety and prevent incidents

Promoting safety awareness

• Drive environment, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives by creating awareness and educating staff and stakeholders
• Share success stories and best practices across JLL project teams to reinforce safety culture
• Mentor and coach both safety officers and non-safety professionals regularly
• Ensure relevant safety licenses are obtained and kept up-to-date

Education and experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety
• Strong background in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management
• Holder of a valid safety license with a proven record in delivering safety training
• Well-versed in project safety systems, tools, processes, and best practices for flawless execution

An eye for detail

• Strong ability to identify stakeholder requirements and devise effective safety measures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled at building team relationships, listening actively, and promoting knowledge sharing
• Capable of interacting effectively with internal teams and business partners
