Job Description

We are looking for a Safety Officer to ensure a safe and secure working environment by implementing and overseeing safety protocols. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, delivering safety training, ensuring regulatory compliance, investigating incidents, performing safety audits, and preparing for emergency situations. You will work to align safety practices with our organizational goals while promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop, monitor and implement the organizations health and safety policy, processes and procedures.
  • Inspect workplace for potential hazards, Identify potential hazards and assess the risk and report potential hazards to Sr. Management
  • Identify training needs for Employees on health & safety and conduct training / awareness sessions
  • Coordinates Emergency response plans and conduct fire drills to ensure proper functioning of equipment s
  • Conduct investigations - respond to and investigate accidents and emergencies
  • Ensure the organization follows legislative and regulatory requirements, conduct trainings with staff to make sure they are aware of regulations and procedures and provide support.
  • Plan and Manage budget for safety.
  • Exposure to industrial waste management
  • Additional responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of Business continuity plan
  • Trade compliance

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Industrial safety and Health Management
  • Graduate in Engineering or Science with Post Diploma in Industrial Safety / Diploma in Industrial Safety

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate a variety of issues and solutions to different audiences
  • Well versed with MS Office and Proven ability of persuasiveness in driving safety initiatives
